Christmas 2010

I have decided that as the children get older the dynamics of Christmas change drastically.  Gone are the days of spending most of the morning opening presents in wonderment and the afternoon putting together toys.  This year was full of electronics, clothes, and gift cards.  And when the opening is over, off they go with headphones on to areas of the house where no adults are in sight.  However, it was a good Christmas full of smiles, laughter, and family - what more could one ask for.

Getting Started

An early New Year's Resolution is to do a better job of remembering all of the events that take place in the Fletcher - Cocke household.  With 5 children running around, I seem to lose track of the ups and downs of our life.  So here's to the beginning of a new year - 2011 (which for me will begin with a reflection on the year 2010)
